What is the safest alternative to RVS?

1.4529: why this is the standard for swimming pools

RVS 1.4529 (also known as UNS N08367 or '6-Mo') contains 6% molybdenum, 25% chromium, and 25% nickel. This composition makes the material virtually immune to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion in chloride environments up to 60°C — well above any realistic swimming pool temperature.

For the most heavily loaded connections (below the waterline, splash zones, handrails), 1.4529 is the material of choice. We supply standard fasteners (M6-M16) from stock in this material.

Above the splash zone, 1.4529 is often overkill. PoolFIX Coated combines high-quality steel with a pool-specific multi-layer coating. For wall and ceiling mountings more than 1 meter from the water surface, this is a reliable and cost-efficient choice.
