PoolFIX coated is the preferred PoolFIX fastening system for most suitable natatorium and aquatic-facility applications. It combines application-specific material selection with product documentation and project traceability. Alloy 926 / UNS N08926 is reserved for restricted ground-level applications within 3.3 ft (1.0 m) of the water.

Stress corrosion cracking can develop without an obvious surface warning

A susceptible material, chloride exposure and tensile stress can combine in a natatorium. Product selection must therefore use the exact location, exposure, load, geometry and maintenance conditions.

PoolFIX coated carries approximately 90–95% of the commercial focus because it is the primary PoolFIX solution for most suitable applications. An actual recommendation still requires a validated product-specific rule.

Why A2/A4 is not an automatic answer

304 and 316 can remain susceptible in pool atmospheres

Material grade alone does not describe tensile stress, chloride deposits, temperature, geometry or cleaning. PoolFIX selection starts with the application rather than a generic stainless-steel label.
