Why PoolFIX®Coated

The PoolFIX® coating has been specially developed for the extreme conditions around swimming pools: high humidity, chlorine and brine vapours, and fluctuating temperatures. The coating is non-conductive, prevents galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals, and reduces friction during assembly. The material properties of the base steel are fully retained.

Cleaning & disinfection

PoolFIX®Coated is resistant to the usual conditions in swimming pool environments. Extra care is required during cleaning and disinfection with hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂).

• Avoid high concentrations of or prolonged exposure to hydrogen peroxide.
• Always rinse treated surfaces thoroughly afterwards with clean tap water to remove residues of cleaning and disinfecting agents.
• Residual chemicals may temporarily soften the topcoat, making it more susceptible to mechanical damage.
• Do not scrub, sand, or clean PoolFIX®Coated products with abrasive agents.
• Preferably use a soft cloth or a non-abrasive cleaning method.

Important: Incorrect chemical concentrations, insufficient rinsing, and mechanical scrubbing can damage the protective topcoat and reduce corrosion resistance.
